  • North London based well regarded meat processing business serving the catering industry with Pork, Redmeat, Poultry and Hala meat products.
  • More than 150 lots of machinery, including wholesale meat processing and butchery equipment from cutters and slicers all the way through to packaging and labelling equipment, stock control scanners and software
  • More than 175 lots of IT systems and office equipment, including hand held scanners, printers and the contents of an IT computer room with high capacity / capability enterprise hardware.

Project Summary 

Our expert Plant & Machinery team was appointed by the administrators of a respected meat processing business to secure the site and prepare a comprehensive asset register and valuation.

Our team’s expertise in food manufacturing equipment enabled them to rapidly catalogue the machinery and define tailored marketing strategies for a wide range of assets from meat processing machinery to specialised software.

This approach involved a thorough assessment, detailed inventory appraisal and strategic disposal advice to maximise sale value. 

We then marketed and successfully auctioned the full inventory, including production machinery, IT systems and office equipment.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was identifying buyers within a highly specialised market, which demanded targeted international marketing efforts to secure competitive sale prices.

The project also involved complex logistics to coordinate the safe removal, transport and storage of large-scale machinery. Thanks to our experience we coordinated every step to keep the process seamless and timely, maintaining a safe and compliant site at all times.
