Helen Jude, Partner at Landwood Group, has been appointed Co-Chair of the North West chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
IWIRC provides a forum to enhance the professional status of women in the insolvency and restructuring profession offering a space to connect, share expertise and develop their professional networks.
At Landwood Group, Helen leads the property and business assets teams, advising insolvency practitioners, lenders and private clients on the recovery, valuation and disposal of assets across a range of distressed and restructuring situations.
Helen Jude said: “Along with my Co-Chair, Judith Hughes from Ogier, I am looking forward to building on the success of the last 3 years since IWIRC was launched in our region.
“We’re keen to continue expanding the network so that more women working in insolvency and restructuring across the North can benefit from the support, collaboration and professional opportunities that IWIRC offers.
“It’s important that the network remains welcoming and inclusive, bringing together professionals at all stages of their careers.”
The regional network was launched to expand IWIRC’s presence beyond its longstanding bases in London and Scotland and to strengthen connections between professionals across the North of England. Since its inception, the North West chapter has built a growing community and hosted a programme of networking and professional events aimed at fostering collaboration across the restructuring and insolvency sector.p teams make informed decisions about their estates.
